From February 9th to 12th, 2017, in Vilamoura, IDENTISOFT, Medical Solutions participated in the 11th Portuguese Congress on Hypertension and Global Cardiovascular Risk.
We had the opportunity to demonstrate our best equipment in the field through the development of a PRACTICAL COURSE ON CERVICAL ULTRASOUND AND ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS. This course, of an eminently practical nature, was aimed at resident or specialist physicians from various specialties interested in deepening their skills in using techniques for assessing vascular risk and injury.
With the support of SONOSCAPE, all participants had the opportunity to learn how to handle and discover the potential of the technique in vascular risk assessment.
The course was divided into four sessions, distributed over the several days of the congress, in 4 modules lasting 1 to 2 hours each. Those who attended all sessions received a certificate of completion.
This congress is one of the main events focused on discussing problems related to hypertension and cardiovascular risk, in all its aspects, with a high standard of quality, addressing various topics of sharing scientific knowledge and clinical experience, both nationally and internationally.
As in previous editions, this year some new features and innovations were introduced. For the first time, they had the collaboration of the Slovenian and Romanian Societies of Hypertension, which allowed for the continuity and expansion of the internationalization of the congress and the SPH (Sociedade de Hipertensão – Portuguese Society of Hypertension). Also new were the Pre-Congress Courses that took place on Thursday morning.
