
IdentiSoft participated in the Smart Health Subcluster visit to IPCA, highlighting innovation in digital health.
On May 6th, IdentiSoft participated in a visit organized by the Smart Health Subcluster network to the Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave (IPCA) in Barcelos. The meeting brought together entities from the health, medical technology, and digital health ecosystems, in a moment dedicated to networking, knowledge sharing, and strengthening strategic collaborations.
The session began at the new B-CRIC – Barcelos Collaborative Research and Innovation Center, followed by a visit to the 2Ai IPCA – Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where solutions for artificial intelligence applied to health were presented.
During the visit, projects covering areas such as medical robotics for personalized laser treatments, surgical navigation, image-guided surgery, support for oncological interventions, intelligent cranial orthoses, platelet-rich plasma therapies, and telerehabilitation were demonstrated.
Solutions developed within the Health from Portugal agenda were also presented, including urological sensors, serious games for auditory health literacy, gamified remote recovery devices, and monitoring platforms for elderly people with dementia.
IdentiSoft’s presence reinforces the company’s commitment to technological innovation, the integration of intelligent systems, and the development of solutions that contribute to the evolution of digital health in Portugal.
The session concluded with a presentation of the Smart Health Subcluster network’s planned activities for 2026, highlighting new opportunities for collaboration, funding, and expansion of joint projects.
